The Border Post is found at the top of Oliviershoek pass overlooking the Northern Drakensberg while nestled against the Sterkfontein Dam. We serve straight forward food with an emphasis on simple artistry. Found on the farm "Windmill" the old house was built in 1936 and over the years was restored to its original rustic splendor and run as a bed & breakfast. The house hosts 7 en-suite rooms, stylishly and comfortably and is surrounded by lush gardens and an exquisite view down towards the Bergville countryside and over the Natal farmlands. The Border Post is a beautiful retreat where peace & tranquility, gracious hospitality, fine food and comfortable accommodations are at the forefront of everything we do.
