Dave and Hilary Badger will welcome you to idyllic Cape St Francis, where you can enjoy the unique experience of watching the sun rise, and set over the warm Indian Ocean, from our popular Sunset Rocks.
Climb the historic Seal Point Lighthouse, built in 1878, walk through the Nature Reserves, or play tennis, golf, squash or bowls.
Fishing, game-viewing and canal cruising excursions can be arranged.
Whales can be seen in our Bay from July through to October, and dolphins are frequent visitors throughout the year.
Relax over dinner at one of our fine restaurants within walking distance of Sandown, or have drinks in a cosy fireside pub.
St Francis Bay and The Port are 7km away, offering further shopping, dining and pampering opportunities for your enjoyment.
Sandown offers two sea view garden flats, and one B & B room, with wooden decks, braai facilities, and secure off-street parking.
Our private 50m path leads on to the beautiful 4km expansive beach, where one can swim, fish or snorkel, while surfers can choose from several good spots, including our world-renowned Seal Point, and nearby Bruce’s Beauties.
At Sandown, we offer breakfasts, at a cost of R75 each.
The top flat, Dolphin, with wall-to-wall carpeting, has a double bed, while the lower one, Shelley, has a tiled floor, with twin beds and a large sea-view barbecue-deck. A dog is allowed here, except in December/January.
Each flat has a sleeper-couch, flat-screen TV, with full DSTV, and kitchenette equipped for 4 people, with en-suite shower, toilet and handbasin. They are suitable for a couple & 1 child.
