Guest Comments

If you are looking for accommodation at an extremely good price Anker Gastehuis is a good choice. Clean, comfortable accommodation at a very good rate. No fuss, no frills.
Elmarie is a wonderful Hostess/Owner & will go out of her way to make your stay great.

Simple and unpretentious accommodation. Owner very pleasant and helpful.

I didn't like the shower and the loo so close together. So after a shower, the whole little cubicle was wet ...with the bath mat all squishy ...yuck.

But as we didn't have to live and sleep in the shower, we put up with it. Beds were very comfortable.

Not very good

My stay at the Anker, while brief, was most enjoyable. The town is quaint and welcoming and the folks at Anker treated me as a family member rather than just another customer. I'd recommend it to any traveller going that way.

We enjoyed our stay our only comment was that it is not really self catering. A small hot plate and fridge would have been useful. Delightful host and hostess who went out of their way to be helpful.
