What an awesome lodge. The location was just perfect for my husband and myself. First time in Clarens, but not the last.
Ashbrook Country Lodge, just what the doctor ordered.

Home away from home. Clean, tidy, comfortable, relaxing. If you need a break away from home with all the comforts rest assured Ashbrook Country Lodge will not disappoint. Will be back in the summer to see all the surrounding areas in green fields.

Lovely facility, would've loved some filter coffee 'starter" packs and would've appreciated some bottled water for first night's stay.
The place was immaculately clean - but had a bit of a "smell" as explained by Liza - however I would've moved visitors straight away and not taken the risk with the french drain. Friday night it was fine partly due to the cleaning materials used but from Saturday afternoon the odour was fairly bad.
