Bee Tree Cabin area consists of 2 x Queen size cabins, one dormitory that sleeps 6 single beds, linen not included in this price. Double shower facilities, toilets and basin, one boma area and 1 kitchen, 1 fridge, utensils for 10 guests, you may however book for camping if you are more than 10, then supply all your own towels, linen and utensils.
Bee Tree Cottages is situated on a tranquil farm just a few kilometers from Cullinan; 30 min drive from Pretoria; 1 hour drive from Johannesburg. The Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering for two people for a romantic break away. Electricity is limited to supplied for a fridge, lights and a radio to keep in touch, if you wish. For cooking, we have installed a two-plate electric stove and hot water is provided from the Solar geyser. The bathroom has a basin, shower with hot and cold water and a eco friendly modern toilet. Towels and soap are provided. We have recently installed a car port for your vehicle. During the winter months or cool summer nights you can enjoy a touch of yesteryear. Curl up to the "Welcome Dover"' stove that burns with coal and wood and heats up the cottage in no time at all. The stove is, of course, ideal for cooking too. Cool down under our cold water bush shower on those balmy summer days and nights. It's big enough for two. Enjoy a "braai" and tranquil sunset or gaze out over the pond which attracts small game and numerous bird species that can be viewed in comfort from the veranda. The cottage is in the transition region between broad-leaved woodland and Highveld grasslands. Habitation in the vicinity includes "koppies", rocky slopes, gorges, rivers, dams, wetlands and farm lands. Hot air ballooning, + horse riding, can be arranged on request. Easy access to the Moloto, Rust De Winter, Wilge River and Verena areas. Bee Tree Farm is listed as one of the top bird viewing destinations in the Chamberlains top 101 bird viewing destinations in Gauteng, and a total of 268 bird species has been sited in our vicinity. A couple of Striped Kingfisher breeds in the garden of Bee Tree Farm. Very recently a couple of pearl breasted swallows and Tinkling Cisticolas were spotted on the S/West corner of Bee Tree Farm. Protea Kaffra grows in abundance on the farm, attracting birds.
