Casa del Mar Hotel, Zanzibar is situated on white sandy coast line, in a small fishing village of Jambiani on the East Coast of Zanzibar.
Zanzibar is reputed to have some of the best snorkeling in the world, and the coral reef structures that surround most of the island ensure that life is abundant.
The small Town of Kizimkazi lies on the south-western end of the island is best known to tourist as the place to see bottlenose dolphins. The chances of seeing Dolphins here are very good. Also you can swim with the Dolphins for 4 meters.
The Jozani forest reserve protects the last remnant of the indigenous forest which once covered much of central Zanzibar; it's the most important mammal sanctuary on the island. The main tourist attraction in the forest is Kirk's Red Colobus, a beautiful and cryptically colored monkey found only in Zanzibar.
Zanzibar's old quarter, usually called Stone Town, is a fascinating maze of narrow streets and alley which lead you to past numerous of old houses, mosques, ornate places, shops, bazaars.
Stone Town offers everything and is well worth a visit. A safe city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
