NOTE: If a search was made without stipulating the month of occupation the rate shown on the search results page is for the lowest cost month and the least expensive room. Where pricing is "per unit" the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.

Guest Comments

It was not as it was advertized on the web.
At first we arrived a bit early and the owner welcomed us with a beer in his hand and looked if he was already drunk, that was about one o'clock in the afternoon. He went on and show us where we are going to sleep and it was not the same as the pictures he was posted on the web. The braai area is not up to standard, old broken rooster, washing machine standing at swimming pool and the kitchen was full of flies and sitting on the bread they have baked for us. The freezer was full of his pizza business fillings he is running on the premises. We thought we going to sleep in a shack as advertized on the web but instead we were sleeping in the house.
We payed R1900 and it was not the money worth, if I knew it was that bad I would only payed R900.
The bar is not clean and everything is dirty and not well organized

This establishment delivered exactly what was advertised: a cheap backpackers joint. It was clean and comfortable. No frills and basic. It suited our needs. We stayed two nights and used it as a base to explore the surroundings. There was a small problem with the water supply on our first night, which was NOT the establishments fault. Henno was very friendly & accommodating.
