Forty8 Backpackers is a backpacker hotel located right in the heart of Cape Town's CBD. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. At reception you can obtain travel information, tour bookings, a safety box and laundry services. Forty8 Backpackers is well known by groups visiting Cape Town domestically and internationally as we have rooms to accommodate a group of up to 50 people. The accommodation ranges from double rooms to shared dorm rooms fitted with bunk beds. The setting and furnishings are trendy, clean and comfortable. Guests have access to a snack bar, breakfast room, communal kitchen and lounge with DSTV viewing, Wi-Fi Internet access and free tea and coffee.

Staff are very welcoming, hassle free check in.

The Hotel stay was not to bad except the showers were not very clean and the water had a very bad smell, the location and parking area is extremely dangerous. Our car was broken into on the first night.
