Overview

Kwalata Wilderness is an expansive game farm located 3.5 hours North of Johannesburg in the beautiful Waterberg. Our 6 000 hectare farm boasts 4 of the big 5 roaming the flat plains to mountains. The tranquil setting is zigzagged by a multitude of streams and dams across the landscape hosting wonderful bird and wildlife.

Valamanzi Lodge offers private secluded chalet accommodation for self catering or full catering. Each of the 4 cabins has a double bed, two single beds and a loft bed. The stunning private balconies overlook the dam where guests can view game coming down to drink and a wide array of bird life. The lodge has a swimming pool, indoor fire place with bar area and exterior lapa.
The venue boasts our beautiful wedding & conference centre for special events up to 150 persons.

Zingela is perfect for groups of people or private individuals. It has three en-suite bouble bedrooms and 4 twin bedrooms. The dramatic courtyard area is shaded by the high canopy of the fig trees which form a vaulted ceiling over the braai and relaxation area. The pool has a view of the dam and the dining area is situated with a bar area conveniently close to the out door fire.

The rates include service of the chalets and fire wood.

Other exciting activities are available such as elephant back, horse back or quad bike safaris, spa treatments or white lion breeding project visit.

Guest Comments

Kwalata's facilities and location capture the wild of Africa and give you an experience not to be forgotten. The only negative point, would be that they did not inform me to bring my own 4x4.

We had the most amazing experience and the hospitality was great. We have already recommended it to our friends who are also planning to visit soon.
