The Cottage is magical and very private - beautiful setting - and it caters for all your needs - but if you want to use the DVD and TV - please note that the DVD player "jumps" the DVD disks and the USB port does not work correclty - the TV channels are also limited - but if you are there for the whole forest experince with no technology it's an awesome place to stay !!!

Paaie kort aandag.

Baie dankie

The Cottage is in a magical setting.
However the furniture was grubby to the point we removed sheets from the spare beds to cover the chairs that we could sit on them, the bed linen is almost threadbare and grubby, one roll of toilet paper available, no hand towel, dish washing liquid,or soap of any nature or fire wood. All of these items were provided in the 4 other self catering establishments we stayed at this holiday.

What a pleasant stay! It has been more than a week since my return from Lothlorien and my being is still yearning for the absolute tranquillity that I experienced during my 5 day stay. Lothlorien has everything to make ones stay comfortable and pleasant. You can really just bring your clothes and some food. But the most wonderful aspect is the peace and quiet and closeness to nature. Oh, don't forget the fireplace... Bliss...

One really needs to be warned that the roads in the vicinity of the facility are gravel and in a very poor condition and that you actually need a 4X4 to negotiate those roads with ease.
Baboons are a problem.
