Guest Comments

The facilities at Mansfield Game Reserve are good, but generally untidy and maintenance poor. After complaints to the camp manager, an attempt was made to rectify shortcomings (broken shower heads, too little rubbish bins, washbasin plugs missing etc). Being a Game Reserve, much more education is necessary and notices need to be put up NOT to feed the monkeys, as they proved to be a pest.

We had a lovely stay at Mansfield and the platform stay was something different and exciting for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely consider going there again. Just three suggestions 1) an entrance code for the gate would make it easier for customers when entering and leaving the property. 2)a braai facility closer to the platform would be appreciated as climbing the path up with a load of food can be a problem.3)making the bathroom " monkey proof" would be a big improvement, and the rest of the platform could do with the same monkey proofing

We had a wonderful time at your game lodge . It had everything we needed and was spotless . The managers were very friendly and helpful . We saw quite a few animals and had a peaceful and relaxing time . We will definitely be back . Thank you !

Booked into a wagon for a unique experience. Bed was very comfortable and the wagon cosy and private. Whilst I inderstand the concept of paying for electricity in the evening, having absolutely no lighting in the public toilets and showers at night is not great, in fact it could be dangerous to guests. I suggest to at least have some battery operated lights during the evenings which can then be switched off at 5am.
Otherwise a lovely experience.
