Montagu Manor is a fully equipped self-catering apartment nestled in a century-old sandstone building a mere stone's throw from the beach and all main amenities in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
This beautiful historical building with its sea views might take you back to a charming bygone era, but the accommodation has all the modern creature comforts you want during a luxurious stay in this charming seaside town.
The 80 square meter open-plan apartment has a private entrance for your convenience. It comprises a sleeping area with double and single bed, living area with television and DSTV, a writing desk and dining area. It was furbished for three guests or four on request.
It also has a separate bathroom and kitchen with stove, fridge and freezer, microwave oven, stove, crockery and cutlery and washing machine. The apartment is also fitted with a heater for colder days and fans and braai (barbeque) facilities for those balmy summer days and evenings.
The undercover veranda with table and chairs affords guests a quiet moment to breathe in the sea air while enjoying our complimentary tea and coffee and enjoying the magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua Mountain range.
When you decide to venture into the bustling town, various shops, banks, fantastic restaurants and all other essential amenities are within walking distance (100 meters). However, transport is available on request and the Mossel Bay Point swimming area and restaurant hub is a mere 1km away.
Airport transfers and other transport are available on request.

Mossel Bay has the second most moderate climate in the world and has lovely white sandy beaches. Even during the winter most days are sunny with moderate temperatures.
Watch the giant mammals of the sea. Visit numerous games lodges or walk along the historical route in town to visit the many museums and the famous Post Office Tree complex as well as the Dias complex.
Other nearby activities include elephant rides, elephant feeds, elephant picnics, horseback safaris, walk with lions, shark cage diving, fishing, bungee jumping, trips to seal island, helicopter flips, day spas, top golf courses and many diverse art and craft shops.
