A hidden gem on the Hermanus Lagoon in the famous Cape Whale Coast area, Mosaic is the place for beach and boating activities, quad-biking through fynbos-clad hills and fantastic bird watching. Mosaic Cottages can be fully catered from the Lagoon Cafe in the historic 1892 Spookhuis, or self catered. Luxury is laced with earthly beauty and heavenly night skies at Mosaic. 2 hours South East of Cape Town.

Surrounded by milkwood trees, fynbos Gardens and abundant birdlife, four lovely stone cottages are available. Accommodation ranges from a one bedroom for two, up to a two bedroom (with a large loft) that sleeps a total of nine. All have kitchens, fireplaces with firewood, outdoor patios and BBQ facilities. Luxury bedding, pure linen & cotton towels and organic rain bath amenities are provided. Units are serviced daily.

Food can be catered from the Lagoon Cafe in the historic 1892 Spookhuis next door, or the cottages can be self catered. Delicious breakfast baskets, dinner dishes, braai platters, organic produce and home made baked goods can be ordered. Gourmet picnics and deli items can be enjoyed at the Lagoon Cafe.

Mosaic Activities: With 1,000 hectares and over 3 km of frontage on the Hermanus Lagoon, Mosaic expands to a secluded part of the pristine Walker Bay Beach and Nature Reserve, the best place in the world for whale watching. Daytime fun varies from quad biking through fynbos clad hills, beach excursions, relaxing lagoon cruises, kayaking, bird watching, and wine tastings and sundowners in special places with panoramic views. Massage and skin therapies are enjoyed at the Mosaic Rain Spa, using Rain Africa products. A boule court is available at the 1892 Spookhuis for hours of fun.

Mosaic is centrally located to enjoy boat-based whale watching, shark cage diving, paragliding, archeological cave tours, light house, wine tasting, golf, shopping. We are happy to reserve your activities for you.

This spacious house is perfect for families, featuring a double volume living/dining area with glass doors that open onto two large porches and an upper deck with panoramic mountain and lagoon views. Built of limestone from Mosaic, the interior has beautiful natural finishes, stone Mosaics and granite counters in the open kitchen.

Bedroom 1: King size bed, bathtub, out door shower, glass doors open onto porch.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, shower (wheel chair accessible), glass doors open onto porch.
Loft: 5 twin beds, glass doors open onto upper deck, separate bath with shower.

Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, luxury bedding, linen & cotton towels, Rain bath amenities, under floor heating, wood burning stove, outdoor BBQ and firewood.
