You cannot get a more peaceful place than this. We loved it. If you are looking for a rustic but really comfortable stay, this is it.

Lovely cabin, beautiful views. We really enjoyed our stay. The travel up to the cabin was rougher than expected, but we will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Moon Gazing Cabin was comfortable and incredibly relaxing as you felt secluded and private. Perfect for a quiet weekend away. Cabin was rustic but well equipped. The view of the Witzenberg mountain range is breathtaking and is there right in front your gaze. Could be a little cleaner and attention to detail slightly lacking there but otherwise had a lovely weekend away and enjoyed the beautiful fireplace.

We were looking for relaxation and peace and that is exactly what we got. What a fantastic view! And the large fireplace was an added bonus. Definately will go back!

Really enjoyed the fresh air, the scenery and the surrounding area to go for a walk or mountain biking.

Lovely cabin, rustic and very basic, but comfortable.
Loved staying there but could not help being put off by the cracked coffee mugs not suitable for use. The cabin is in desperate need of maintenance and a proper clean. Storage space in the cupboards could not be used as it's dirty and full of owner or care taker stuff .
The stoep is comfortable and the best part of the cabin! Suggest the broken chair be removed.
Would love to revisit and promote to friends and family once up to standard.

I really enjoyed my stay at this remote cabin, all in all very relaxing and peaceful.
Only negative is no oven, I would highly recommend that the owners invest in a gas oven.
