Overview

Park's Edge is located in the quaint setting of Harfield Village in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. We are centrally located with beautiful views of the mountain. The position offers easy access to major routes and is close to Newlands rugby stadium and Newlands cricket grounds. It is close to Cavendish Square and other popular shopping destinations. The train station is less than ten minutes walk away. The area is conveniently situated but away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The area boasts some of the top restaurants and bars in Cape Town. These include Brad's Grill, Thai World, Davinci's and Home Bar. All the activity in the village takes place less than a three-minute walk from the B&B.

Taking its namesake from the park across the road it allows guests to take a leisurely stroll in a safe environment. The park is great for kids and has recently been upgraded.

The idea of a B&B came about when we purchased the adjoining building to our coffee shop. We noticed a lack of quality accommodation in the area and the coffee shop next door allowed for a perfect fit. The coffee shop operates from 08.00 - 16.30 on weekdays, from 08.00 - 15.00 on Saturdays and from 09.00 - 14.00 on Sundays.

Park's edge is a passion before a business. Our mission is to provide the best possible service at affordable prices to meet your every need. The owners manage the business and it is our pleasure to welcome you to our home.

Both rooms are exquisitely decorated in a shabby chick French style. Each room is spacious and offers a queen size, extra length bed and en-suite bathroom. Both rooms are north facing and cosy. A good night's rest is assured in the tranquil setting of the southern suburbs. Sleep soundly between quality linen on firm mattresses.

Each room has wireless Internet, air conditioning, a mini fridge, a LCD TV. We serve top quality coffee. Unlimited internet.

The bed and breakfast forms part of the historic building that is home to one of the leading coffee shops in the area. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at Cafeen or order room service. Our friendly staff is always there to help. Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 12:00 daily.

The rooms are completely separate from the residence and each room has a separate entrance. The owners reside on the site but privacy is a key ingredient. Both rooms are easily converted into a family accommodation through an inter-leading passage.
