Overview

Situated in the tranquil seaside suburb of Gonubie, with just a 15 minute drive into East London, and a 5 minute walk to our fantastic beach, a perfect spot for both the holidaymaker and the business guest.

Our establishment offers a small but welcoming swimming pool. For those with children we have a jungle-gym, sandpit, trampoline and wendy house. We have secure parking for 1 vehicle and private outdoor seating areas for all units. Barbeque facilities are available for all units. We welcome pets by arrangement.

We also offer units at Gonubie Sands apartments, 200 meters from the Rose and Ale and only 2 minute walk from the sea. These comfortable units are individually decorated to our standard but with no access to the pool or playground. Barbecue facilities available and secure parking. Pets also welcome by arrangement.

Gonubie is a lovely tranquil holiday spot. We offer a 9 hole golf course, squash and tennis courts and 2 gyms nearby. The surrounding area has Game Parks and superb unspoiled beaches. There is Lion Park, zoo and aquarium. The surfing and fishing is great too.

This spacious ground floor flat is 200 meters from the Rose and Ale, but just a 1 minute walk from the sea, boasts a single large bedroom with queen bed and en-suite shower (only bathroom). In the separate open plan kitchen lounge area there is a sleeper couch for extra accommodation (or 2 single beds). A fully self catering kitchen, dining table and TV with Dstv (hotel package). Outside you have a yard with barbecue facilities and ample seating. this unit is 50 sqm in size. (no access to pool and playground). Sleeps 2 comfortably, maximum of 4.

This is a lovely, spacious, 2 bedroom, ground floor flat, 200 meters from the Rose and Ale and just a 1 minute walk from the sea and 56 sqm in size. The main bedroom has the en-suite shower (only bathroom) and a queen bed with percale linen. The Second bedroom is small but bright with 2 single beds, all linen supplied. The spacious open plan kitchen lounge area has a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge is comfortable with Dstv (hotel package) Mnet and Supersport and a sleeper couch for extra accommodation (or 2 singles). A dining table and breakfast nook is also available. This ground floor, basement apartment (ceiling height 2.1m) is a large bachelor flat with a queen bed and sleeper couch for extra accommodation (can also be made up into 2 single beds, linen supplied) . There is one bathroom off the kitchen with shower, toilet and basin. . The kitchen is fully self-catering and is equipped with a full range of crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as a countertop stove and standard fridge freezer. . Dining room table and chairs available. . There is a TV equipped with DSTV (Hotel Package) Mnet and all Supersport. . Aztec Room is 40sq meters. . All percale linen and towels (except beach towels) supplied as well as a complimentary tea/coffee tray and fresh home-made rusks. . There is secure under cover parking for 1 vehicle if you bring another vehicle (or boat, trailer etc) then we cannot guarantee secure parking for both, we will try to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee it. . Outside in the enclosed garden you have seating as well as your own private barbeque facility. . Marine Room is 500 meters from the sea and restaurants, and 500 meters from the shops. . Please note that this apartment is not on the same premises as Rose and Ale (the address is 4 Baisley Crescent) and does not have access to the Swimming Pool and Children's play area. . The apartment is not serviced during the stay but if you would like a Domestic to come in and clean we can arrange that for R80.00 an hour.
