The Thatch Cottage, a self catering guesthouse, is situated in Brooklyn, one of the most upmarket, leafy suburbs of Pretoria. It comprises of 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with orthopaedic double beds, good linen, bar fridges microwave ovens, coffee and tea facilities, suitable crockery and cutlery, big desks, ironing equipment, hairdryers etc. Fast and reliable fibre WIFI is available to all guests. Guests also have access to the main kitchen, which is equipped with stove and ovens as well as a washing machine, which may be used by all guests. The main lounge area may also be used by all guests and provides a TV will full DSTV bouquet. The beautiful lush garden areas, with comfortable seating, are ideal for guests to relax after a hectic day. Gas braai facilities are also available. Secure parking is provided.
All rooms are serviced daily, except weekends and public holidays. It's centrally situated, being within 100m from the University of Pretoria and walking distance of Loftus Sports stadium and Brooklyn Mall (with many fine restaurants, banks and shops) as well as Hatfield, Pretoria Boys High. Unisa, the CSIR and hospitals such as Little Company of Mary, Zuid Afrikaans and Jakaranda hospital are also near.. Oliver Tambo Airport is 40 minutes away. Prices: R550 for one person per night and R900.00 per room for two persons sharing a room.
