Thornleys is an upmarket guest house in Eshowe. Thornleys has a "traveller's room", this room is for the budget orientated traveller.
It is en-suite with 4 single beds and is significantly cheaper.
There is no DSTV in the "Traveller's room".
Guests are encouraged to make use of the house facilities which include a peaceful lounge to relax with a good book, a private pub and also a swimming pool. A Large garden and verandahs ensure guests will always find privacy should they require it.

The oldest town in Zululand, Eshowe boasts the Fort Nongqayi museum village which dates from 1883. This lovely fort has been converted to a museum village and gives one a fascinating insight into the rich history of the area. For the golf enthusiasts, Eshowe Hills golf course is a magnificent 18 hole course which at 104 years old is the oldest in Zululand! Eshowe Hills golf course is a 10 minute drive from Thornleys B & B, golf clubs are available for hire. Eshowe is also birders paradise! Centrally placed on the world renowned Zululand Birding Route, which boasts over 600 species! Eshowe has a wealth of birding hotspots.... Located in the town and a 10 minute drive from Thornley's is the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk. Local Bird Guides can be arranged on request. Lake Phobane is recognised as one of South Africa's top bass dams and is a 20 minute drive from Eshowe. The Indian Ocean is a 30 minute drive from Eshowe, should a visitor want to go for a swim in the sea or else do some salt water fishing. Eshowe is the perfect base camp from which to travel and experience the real Zululand.
