We enjoy our stay there the facilities, service, cleanliness were excellent. We enjoy it and can recommend Timmerskraal. The hostess was very caring and hospitable.

Perfect little private cottage to stay over, while you enjoy Clarens! It's got a beautiful garden, view of the mountains, and closely situated to the town.

Very old worldly. Kitchen was a little problematic to use due to being very small, but for a short stay you wont be too inconvenienced. It was perfect as a pet friendly establishment and we had a very pleasant stay! I would go back.

Very dissapointed, place old, dirty and outdated, meaning full of her mothers clutter, not antique, but makes the place look like its filled with rubbish. She told us herself that photos with your web was updated 10 years ago. U have to walk through the bathroom to get to both bedrooms!!!!!!!! Curtains dirty and couch in lounge, material torn, they throw old dirty bedspreads over the couch that makes you not want to sit on it. Its not a kitchen, consisted of 1 basin, stove and fridge, there isn't space to make a sandwich, no sharp or steak knives. The place is not worth R50pppn, we paid R900 pd for 3. If I knew it looks like that I would have rather paid R500pppn

Needs a revamp. Carpets are worn out. Bedside lamps were not working. Too cluttered.
Old fabric flowers are so outdated and not appealing. But otherwise it was okay. Sheets were worn out, could do with new bright bed linen. Hooks to keep doors open could be installed.
