When thinking of affordable,self-caterng accommodation in Knysna, think of the warm and friendly greeting awaiting you at Margie's Place. We offer elegant and tasteful units, that 'home from home' feeling prevails and the view is stunning! All our units have their own parking and entrance, DSTV, fully equipped kitchenettes. There is a lovely clear pool to keep you cool on those hot summer days - braai area as well!

The Blue Room (sleeps 2-4 people) consists of a Queen size bed with full bathroom- en-suite and a separate bedroom with Adult size Bunk Beds. The unit boasts A private deck where you can enjoy the glorious sunsets over the Knysna Lagoon while sipping your cocktail.The Blue Room is suitable for a family or a 'divine' honeymoon nest for two

The Gold Room(sleeps 2 - 3) consists of Twin Beds,which can be made iinto a King-size, with shower-en-suite, lounge, bar and kitchenette. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge should you have a little one.There is a distinctive oriental flavour to the decor in both units and loads of vibrant colour!

The Gold Room has Twin Beds which can be made into a King Size. Shower ensuite, lounge, bar and fully equipped kitchenette.In the lounge the Sleeper Couch turns down into a very comfortable Sleeper Couch, for that third person .Great views of the Knysna Lagoon and Heads ,Full DSTV, pool and braai facilities by the pool. Lovely relaxing atmosphere prevails.

Margie is a wonderful host and we enjoyed staying at Margies's Place.

Margie was not on the property so I suppose service and friendliness go by the wayside. Whole unit needs a cleanup but specially the kitchen and shower. Needs decent crockery and utensils.
They have been in the hospitality industry for 15 years and it shows. The mattress and electrical appliances confirm that. No daily service which is sad as I do not feel like doing dishes and making beds during my holiday. Not to be repeated.
