Bushbuck Hills is a beautiful game farm, nestled in a series of hills surrounding the North-West town of Swartruggens. To the north, the Pilanesberg Mountains and reserve and are visible and a 60 kilometer drive will take you to the gates of Sun City. The farm is a mere 2 hour drive from Gauteng on the N4 highway towards Rustenburg all the way to Swartruggens, leaving you a mere 16 kilometer of well maintained gravel road to reach the entrance of the farm.
With no dangerous animals on the farm, Bushbuck Hills is a paradise for nature lovers. The farm offers a variety of walking trails for hikers and has an abundant amount of bird species on the farm for bird watchers. Utility quad bikes are also allowed on the farm whilst mountain bike and 4x4 enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves on the different tracks. At Bushbuck Hills, you can come real close to Kudu, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Gemsbuck, Eland, Rooi Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Blesbuck, Warthog and all the other small game. Hunting season is from May till August every year and hunters are guided by our Farm Manager who is also a Professional Hunter.
Bushbuck Hills can cater for small to medium size groups, whether it is for a corporate break-away, conference, management workshop, bosberaad or year-end function or social gathering. The game farm is also ideal for family reunions or a group of friends celebrating a weekend in nature with all the everyday necessities available for comfort. The bush camp conference venue can accommodate up to 40 delegates, cinema style, for conferences, workshops and meetings. The bush camp provides a private breakaway in the bush and the surrounding garden is ideal for informal breakaway sessions. Bushbuck Hills offers a well equipped and spacious conference facility with experienced staff on hand to cater for your formal and/ or informal meeting requirements. Small banquets, weddings and themed evenings with a difference are also offered

The Bush Camp consists of 4X on-suite three-bed rondavels,four-bed 4 X two-bed rondavels. A bathroom is shared between each two of the two-bedroom chalets. The 3-bed rondavels has its own small bar fridge. Bedding and Towels included. A communal kitchen is found in the dining hall situated next to the swimming pool. Accommodation is self catering for individuals but we do cater for social and conference groups. Meals can be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen area or in the lapa. A conference hall is available on site to cater for your conference or `bosberaad` requirements.

T he mountain hut provides accommodation for the more adventurous. With no electricity supply to the hut, you have to stoke the "donkey" for a hot shower! The mountain cabin has two bedrooms with 8 single beds, a communal bathroom with toilet and shower and a small kitchen. You need to bring your own crockery, cutlery and bedding. Need a 4x4 vehicle to get there. This is the ideal place to stay for hikers and nature lovers.

Really lovely place with wildebeest grazing on your doorstep! Everything was spotlessly clean and of very good quality. Manager and his wife very kind and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised that a gem like this still exists at such an affordable price! Will definitely go again!

A total and absolutely misrepresentation. The pictures on their website do not reflect what it is today. The place looks dilapidated with broken vehicles as your entry way. The road leading to the farm is horrible. Though the place is clean once you eat something then the place is crawling with ants. The owners were not even there to check us out and at check in they demanded more money than originally posted on the website
