Rainbow lodge is the ideal getaway for a couple who are seeking a romantic weekend away or the whole family who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to a tranquil environment. Rainbow lodge is just 10km from the N1 highway and close to the very popular country town Dullstroom.
We have 5 self catering country cottages sleeping between 2 and 6 people each depending on your requirements.

This spacious 4 bedroom unit, which can sleep 11 persons, is ideal for big families or a large group of friends seeking some peace and tranquillity. The unit consists of 2 large bedrooms with single beds, a bathroom, a very spacious kitchen downstairs and bunk beds under the stairs (kids corner). There is also a coffee table and chairs around the fireplace to enjoy the fire on cold evenings. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, a bathroom, and a large living area with stunning views over the dams and down the valley.

What a nice surprise! The tranquility of the place was just what two tired soles from the City needed. The facilities and our cabin was up to standard. Shaun, the caretaker was so friendly and made us feel right at home the moment we got out of our car. We fell in love with our surroundings and on departure assured Shaun that we will definitely return. We only stayed for two nights but next time it will definitely be for much longer. Thanks Rainbow Lodge. You guys rock!

My wife and I stayed at the Rainbow Lodge for six nights and I wish we could have stayed for six months. The tranquility and the surroundings were just what we needed for the perfect rest and I would not hesitate to recommend the establishment to anyone who wants to get away from it all and relax in secluded (but central) country style accommodation - especially if they like a spot of good fly fishing!
