Overview
Kleinplasie Guesthouse is situated on a beautiful smallholding just 2km outside of the town of Calvinia in Hantam in the Northern Cape. The original farm buildings which are more than a 100 years old were restored into a guest farm in 2002.
We offer four spacious double rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, Wifi,Tea and coffee facilities, fridge and TV with DSTV and Air Conditioning. All of the rooms operate as self-catering units and all are comfortably decorated.
We also offer a caravan park and camping facilities.
Each room at Kleinplasie also includes braai facilities.
The Calvinia district forms part of the Great Karoo and is 400 km northwest of Cape Town on the Namibia route. This region is best known for the array of brightly coloured spring wildflowers which come into bloom during August and September - otherwise known as the Namaqualand daisy season. The town of Calvinia has many attractions which include The Calvinia Museum, the historical building called The Boekhuis ("Book House"), The Akkerendam Nature Reserve as well as the famous Hantam Meat Festival which takes place in August each year.

This open-plan apartment has a private entrance.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, and there is a sleeper couch in the living area for 2 children/1 adult. The open plan living area has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee making facilities. Lounge area with a dining table that seats 4 comfortably and a TV. DSTV and WIFI are available.

This self-catering unit was an old farm pond that was converted into a cute rondavel, that can accommodate 3 guests.
The unit is furnished with a double bed, as well as a child-only sleeper couch suited for children under 12 years old. The unit has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.
