Constantiaberg Mediclinic
Constatiaberg Mediclinic is a private hospital in Cape Town, in the Western Cape, which forms part of the international Mediclinic group. Mediclinic has hospitals all over South Africa as well as in the Middle East and Europe.
Constantiaberg is located on the fringe between Plumstead, Constantia and Diep River, a respectable middle to upper income part of Cape Town. The service you can expect at Constantiaberg Mediclinic rivals the best hospitals anywhere and the hospital has a wide variety of specialised units. These units include the haematology and bone marrow transplant unit, obstetrics, paediatrics, neuroscience, oncology, the epilepsy unit and the joint replacement unit. There are also doctors who operate private practices from the hospital.
Apart from in-patient care, Constantiaberg Mediclinic also offers a number of support groups for friends and families of patients as well as patients themselves. Some of the support groups are CPR for family and friends, Compassionate friends, Diabetic support, the MS society, Prostate support action, and stroke services. Constantiaberg is only 25 minutes from the centre of town though, if travelling on the freeway, so even if your accommodation is not on Constatiaberg’s doorstep, it will not be too inconvenient getting there.
