Muldersdrift is an area on the West Rand of Johannesburg in Gauteng. It is about half an hour from either Joburg or Pretoria, both bustling city metropolises. Visitors can tour the village with a guide and those who are especially keen to be fully immersed can share a meal and get a real taste of the traditional way of doing things.
Muldersdrift, being in the open country as it is, is surrounded by numerous game reserves, ranging from Big 5 destinations to protected areas suitable for walking and picnicking.
