Find Affordable Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in Stormberg District

When looking for bed and breakfast accommodation in Stormberg District that is not going to cost you an arm and a leg, the best place to start your search is online, and more specifically, on our website. Here you will find hundreds of listings and reviews to help you with your comparisons.

Finding the right accommodation, whether it is for a business conference you have to attend or should you be looking for affordable accommodation for your family break, bed and breakfast accommodation in Stormberg District is not only a great choice price wise, but it is also ideal because of the size of this style of accommodation.

Bed and breakfasts can be family owned businesses or they can be a part of a franchise. But what they all have in common is that they are generally smaller than your other styles of accommodation. Lodges and hotels can seem a little unhomely for a family break while for those down in the province on business, the lodge might not provide the type of environment you are after. Bed and breakfast facilities are superb for creating comfortable environments, with limited rooms meaning only a select few guests will be around.

Hotels can feel crowded, backpacker accommodation might be too rustic, and apartments are usually for longer stays. Bed and breakfasts provide the happy middle ground.

On this website, we have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to find and book bed and breakfast accommodation. Should you not have been to Stormberg District before, it is easier to find and book accommodation through our website because we have a number of tools that will guide you to making the right choice. With our listings and tools, you should be able to make a booking at the right place, once you have done all of the comparisons and read all of the reviews.

Stormberg District Reviews

Stormberg District Accommodation is rated 4.4 / 5 based on 14 reviews from guests booking with Sleeping-OUT.

Cradock
Though it has seen better days with respect to its infrastructure, especially the roads, Cradock remains a town with an interesting history. It is probably most famous (in modern times) for the story of 'The Cradock Four'.
It is one of the Cape's chief centres of the wool industry.
We took an interest in Schreiner House where the author of The Story of an African Farm lived as a young girl. The house, which is located at 9 Cross Street and is a satellite of the National English Literary Museum, contains a modern set of exhibitions portraying the life of Olive Schreiner.
Cradock had a name change in 2022. It has officially been renamed Nxuba.

Cradock
Lovely little town. Clean and neat. Received great assistance from the local policeman when we reported our stolen goods.

Queenstown
Queenstown is regretfully a most run-down, badly run, scruffy town. Huge deteriotation since we were there about 5 years ago. Very sad.

Cradock
It was our second time in Cradock, we knew where all the shops were and the locals were friendly as usual. The only bad thing was the condition of the roads.
- Karen Arendse

Cradock
Cradock is a beautiful Karoo town and well worth a visit. It is a convenient place to break the long journey between the Eastern Cape and Gauteng. It has numerous excellent guesthouses and a choice of good restaurants too.
