Beautiful area where we could take long walks on the beach and we also walked to nearby shops. Unfortunately the public bins was overflowing and pollution spoiled the breathtaking scenery. But the weather was perfect and we enjoyed watching the fishermen from early morning till late at night. Overall it was a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful area. Quality beaches and lots of good quality restaurants; easy acess - only about 20 minutes by road from King Shaka International Airport.

Umhlanga wird landläufig mittlerweile auch als "Johannesburg at the beach" genannt. In der Innenstadt wird ein Hochhaus an dem anderen gebaut. Wir sind zu Fuß in die Innenstadt und haben dabei festgetellt, dass auch der Verkehr ähnlich wie in Johannesburg ist. Bei "The Chefs Table" kann man sehr sehr gut essen und hat dabei einen Blick auf das Treiben in den Straßen.

Not a place we would choose as a holiday destination. Too busy, noisy, crowded. We like to really get away from everything and everyone when we go on holiday.
