Action Packed February with Dirtopia! - 2
To celebrate the month of love, you can book for the Falke Valentine's Sunset Hike taking place on the 14th at Dirtopia Café. The hike is a great Valentine's activity, especially for the romantic, and includes a glass of bubbly on top of the Koppie with spectacular, panoramic views of the Western Cape.
On Saturday 17 February, the cover band MIXTAPE will be performing hits from the 80’s, 90’s and beyond with a Valentine’s theme of Meetup, Breakup, Makeup. This Sunset Concert starts at 7pm until 9pm and includes entertainment for the kids. Targeting the older rocker crowd who enjoy good music, food & wine, or craft beer.
Other Dirtopia Café events include Sushi and Sauvignon on the 18th, enjoy a fantastic sushi platter with a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc. This month’s event will also include live music by Shane. Wine lovers must not miss the monthly Wine Walk to Warwick on the 24th! This fun walk includes wine tasting at Warwick and a scrumptious lunch upon return at Dirtopia Café.
Other events this month hosted by Dirtopia include:
- The 1st of the 2018 Dirtopia Enduro series takes place on the 18th - a social event where riders only get timed on certain sections – mostly downhill singletrack.
- The Mountain Bike Skills Clinics (Intermediate and Beginner) on the 17th and 25th
- And the French Flair Trail Run taking place at L’Avenir Wine Estate on the 25th. Relax in front of the dam with a glass of their magnifique bubbly after your run on this beautiful French estate. Wear red, white & blue.
The Trail Centre is open 7 days a week on the farm for mountain bike hire, permits for marked trails and outdoor equipment.
