Camphill Village Music Festival 2015 - 4
Camphill Village will be hosting their second annual music festival on the 31 October 2015 in Philadelphia.
The concert features a line-up of South Africa's top artists with Beatenberg, Just Jinjer, Ottoman Slap, Bootleggers, among others.
It is an outdoor, countryside event where festival-goers can sprawl on the grass, relax and listen to live music performances. For the hungry and thirsty there a variety of food and wine stalls.
Not only about providing a good time to festival-goers, all proceeds made from the event will go toward the Camphill Village West Cost Community. Camphill Village treats all their residents equally - transcending the stigma attached to disability. Intellectually disabled adults are encouraged to become involved in a thriving community where they lives in group homes and work at the premises' enterprises. These enterprises- a bakery, cosmetic store, dairy and a farm sell their wares to Cape Town outlets. Profits made from the sales go toward sustaining the community.
