Cape Town 10s 2017 - 8
Cape Towns 10s, is South Africa's biggest social sport and lifestyle event. It was first established in 2008, and is the brain child of rugby legends, Bob Skinstad and Robbie Fleck.
The 9th edition of Cape Town 10s will be hosted at Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point on the 2nd - 4th February 2017.
Visitors to the event can look forward to 3-day event jam-packed with rugby and netball action – 100 rugby teams and 40 netball teams and 40 volleyball teams from all over SA and abroad will be taking part.
150 teams are set to go head-to-head in some 800 games over this weekend. Fans can catch international rugby legends alongside some of South Africa’s very own rugby heroes, like John Smit, Butch James, Percy Montgomery, Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck.
Over the years fans were granted the opportunity to meet a number of international rugby legends, Jonah Lomu, Carlos Spencer and Christian Cullen.
The festival isn't just all about sport however. Visitors can expect a major entertainment spectacular with top musical acts, dress up competitions and access to Africa’s biggest beer tent.
The Cape Town 10s has been shortlisted in the Discovery Sport Industry Awards 2015 Best Live Experience category and is once again set to be the biggest weekend of social sports and entertainment of the year.
