Cape Town Unwired at Nomad Bistro & Bar - 9

Nomad Bistro & Bar presents Cape Town Unwired! A fantastic platform to revive the underground live entertainment. Commencing Thursday, 20th June 2019, a two month series of live performances from a combination of bands, solo artists and DJs as they go head to head for the winning title in each of the three categories; Solo Artists, DJs and Bands!

It is a unique opportunity for the talented performing artists of Cape Town to compete and have their music spread to the masses in the Mother City! Cape Town Unwired partnered up with NOMAD Bistro in town - one of the premier entertainment & food venues to make one of the best artist platforms for their inaugural event in 2019. The stage offers a chance of a lifetime to those believing in their talents and need the optimal showcase.

Independent judges will critique all performances of each category on its designated day.

The winners will perform again in the grand finale, at the end of August 2019.

Competition Performance Schedule:

  • Thursdays - Solo Artists 
  • Fridays - DJs
  • Saturdays - Bands

Grand Prize!

R22,000 worth in cash distributed between the 3 winners! In addition to a 6 month media marketing contract, goodie bags and vouchers from various brands. In addition, the winners will receive six months of media coverage. Entries are open to every Capetonian solo artist, band and DJ who believe that they have what it takes to be the grand winner. The application form can be found on the website.
