Cape Town's Original Craft Beer Octoberfest – CRAFTOBERFEST – is back!
Craftoberfest will showcase SA's leading Craft Beer Breweries in a traditional Octoberfest environment. This spring time festival is taking place from 23 October to 25 October 2015 at the Berg River Resort in the beautiful Winelands. It is centrally located, 60km northeast of Cape Town between Paarl, Franschhoek and with Stellenbosch just 20 minutes away.
With over 100 craft beers on offer, a variety of food trucks, live bands, djs and an Oompah band – there will be plenty to keep visitors amused all weekend long. The Beer Pong contest is a festival favourite and challenges festival goers to a battle of epic proportions.
As it is a weekend long event, visitors are welcome to take advantage of the camping option, which provides for camp sites of max 6 adults and parking for 2 cars.
The event opens at 4pm on Friday and closes at 4pm on Sunday.
