Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, considered the perfect fusion between Africa and South Africa’s leading fashion retail space and the continent’s premier fashion event, will once again be making its return to the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City.
If you’re a fashion guru or looking for the latest designs for the upcoming season, then the Nelson Mandela Square is where you should be from 10-12 March 2016.
The event is sponsored by a partnership with Africa Fashion International and Mercedes Benz. This will be the third year running that the duo have organised the highly-anticipated event.
South Africa’ leading designers will be showcasing their autumn and winter collection against a backdrop especially created for the event. To date, onlookers can look forward to the designs by the international success story, David Tlale as well as local favourites, Stefania Marland, Leigh Schubert, Khosi Nkosi among others. While the organisers are keeping mum about what attendees can expect, if passed events are anything to go by the line up is sure to keep up with the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week reputation as South Africa’s leading fashion event.
Sandton City, which forms the heart of Johannesburg’s business Centre, gives shoppers a glimpse into the high life - with its high-end fashions, fine dining and access to some of the world’s most iconic brands.
