The Dino Expo is excited to announce that the upcoming Jurassic Giants Festival Cape Town will be held in the lush environs of Maynardville Park, Wynberg from 22 September - 1 October 2023. The exhibition will unveil two Jurassic giants, the majestic Tyrannosaurus rex (13 metres) and the Austrolotitan (20 metres) in Cape Town among several other attractions for maximum family fun and entertainment. Spreading over 15 000 sqm, various exhibitors, music DJs, food stalls, markets from across Cape Town will participate in the dinosaur jamboree.
The Dino Expo has switched up gears; and its full throttle towards a jaw-dropping Jurassic jungle experience perfect for all day entertainment for the whole family plus more. If you thought you had seen it all, that was just the beginning. The Dino World has gone BIGGER! Figuratively and quite literally.
Spread over a 15 000m2 area, just like 3 soccer fields, in a lush, picturesque park, the exhibition that you have grown to love has evolved into a multi-sectional experience. Each of the sections listed below will have its own entrance ticket.
Visitors have the liberty to choose which sections of the exhibition they want to see depending on their preferences and their tickets will be valid for the whole day excluding the rides and activities. More entertainment will be available including markets, music DJs, food stalls and more.

- Dinosaur playground (The playground area will consist of an inflatable dinosaur slide, the dinosaur nest and the stegosaurus slide).

Tickets are limited due to venue capacity; we encourage our customers to book in advance to avoid disappointments on the last day.

The outdoor show has facilities that are set up in such a way that each activity has a differently priced ticket, meaning customers can purchase tickets for the specific sections that they want to visit. A full access ticket for example, will give the holder access to all the sections of the exhibition except the activities and rides. Discounted special tickets are also available for families of 4, groups of 8 and 16.
