Pick n Pay Women's Walk Knysna 2016 - 4
The Pick n Pay Women’s Walk is a series of 5km fun walks which take place across South Africa and are open to men, women and children of all ages. The aim of the Pick n Pay Women’s Walks is to raise awareness around breast cancer and also to raise funds for the PinkDrive. The next scheduled walk is talking place in scenic Knysna in the Garden Route on 10 July.
The PinkDrive is Public Benefit Organisation powering South Africa’s first mobile PinkDrive Mammography Unit and PinkDrive Educational Unit through our country, driving home the fact the ‘Early detection saves lives’.
The Pick n Pay Women’s Walk is not just a fun walk there are many activities that happen on the day – our MC’s in each region will keep you entertained and get you ready before each walk. You can also look forward to live entertainment, a lucky draw prize-giving, best dressed competitions and much more.
Snacks, delicious boerie rolls and hot and cold refreshments are also for sale on the day from the Pick n Pay Food stand, our nutrition partner Futurelife will also be giving away yummy smoothies for you to try as well as product to take home and test for yourself.
PinkDrive will also be present on the day, selling pretty pink goodies for a good cause as well as offering free breast examinations and advice from trained nurses, so don’t forget to visit the PinkDrive tent on the day.

Entry is really simple:
1. Enter for one of the Pick n Pay Women’s Walks – either on Webtickets or at any of the selected local Pick n Pay stores
2. Attend the walk and place the FIAT branded tab provided on your race number into the box on stage (walkers will need to be present to qualify)
3. Enjoy the walk!
Five lucky winners will be drawn after the walk has finished – those five winners will not only win an awesome FIAT hamper on the day but also stand in line to be entered into the national draw. Of the five winners drawn on the day one person will be randomly selected to be entered into the National draw to win the Iconic FIAT 500. The winner will be announced at the end of the series at the Pick n Pay Women’s Walk Soweto.
