Rand Show 2019 - 3
The Rand Show celebrates an incredible 125 years as an iconic event on the Joburg calendar in 2019. The Show was first organised by the Witwatersrand Agricultural Society and attracted 3000 visitors. It quickly became part of South African heritage attracting industries and dignitaries from around the globe and was a firm favourite with the public, with a record 848,332 visitors attending in 1989.
The next edition of this much-anticipated show takes place from 19 - 28 April 2019 at the Joburg Expo Centre.
The event has gained much prominence over the years, with over 400 000 visitors flocking to the show each year. For generations, it has been entertaining people, connecting them with brands, introducing them to the latest market releases and hooking them up with great show bargains.
Kids can discover the world of Science & Technology at the Into the Future Expo, have an animal adventure in the Animal Kingdom, try their hand at a new sport at the Sports Expo and discover the latest toys and games at the Kids Expo. They can also explore the interiors of helicopters and other awesome vehicles at the huge SANDF exhibit, catch the explosive SANDF arena display or wander through the Show Gardens at the Flower & Garden Expo.
Families can view the latest products and services on offer in the Lifestyle Expo or just relax while enjoying the great variety entertainment on offer in the Festival Zone.
With loads of food vendors on site, every taste and preference are catered for at The Rand Show, truly a great day out for the whole family.
