Sandton Craft Beer Fair & Music Festival 2014 - 7

The Sandton Craft Beer Fair now is now in its third instalment and is one of Joburg’s most popular festivals. It will be held at the Sands in trendy Sandton on the 20th and 21st of September 2014.

People from all corners come to the Sandton Craft Beer Fair to enjoy craft beers, delicious food and local music in the spring sunshine.

Right in the heart of the bustling Sandton metropolis, this amazing venue is well prepared to greet thousands of festival goer’s marquees, bars, grass areas and seating for up to 2000 people.

The main focus of the day is craft beer, and many rare brews will be available for visitors to experience. Eleven breweries and over 40 finely crafted beers and ciders will be showcased, including:

Jack Black
Cape Brewing Company
Devils Peak Brewing Company
Aces Brew Works
The Beer Keg
Boston Brewery
Everson Cider
Citizen
SMACK Republic
Copperlake
 
Due to popular demand an additional day has been added to the Sandton Craft Beer festival. On Sunday the 21st of September, children will be allowed to attend to make it a fun family friendly day. Saturday the 20th is an adult’s only event and no under 18’s will be permitted.

To make the experience more enjoyable, there will be local DJ's, bands and artists performing throughout the day. There will also be various food stalls serving delicious fare to complement the craft beer.

The event starts at 10 am and runs until 7 pm.
