The George Strawberry Festival presented by Ola 2019 - 4

Another good food and family weekend can be enjoyed at this year’s George Strawberry Festival presented by Ola on the 21st and 22nd of September. There is something for everyone to enjoy during the action-packed line-up on the Redberry Family Stage from performances by Lollos, kids entertainment, Mascot Parade and the Ace Models Miss Strawberry pageant.  Get sticky by taking part in the Redberry Farm Strawberry Stomping competition. Stuff your face and enter the Adult Strawberry Eat Off Competition and try breaking the record of 1,669kg of strawberries devoured in 3 minutes!

Take part in the 5km run/walk or 9km trail run powered by Outeniqua Refrigeration through the strawberry and kiwi fields. Fitness fanatics can flex their muscles at CrossFit’s “Fittest in the Garden Route” challenge.

Adults can relax at the SAB Beer Garden while local artists perform on the RSA Group Music Stage. Challenge your friends to fun giant-sized classics in the Mc Donald’s Games Garden. Redberry Farm will offer an array of activities to choose from. Shop until you drop in the Outdoor Country Market with an array of unique stalls and a selection of fast food options to indulge in.

Food enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice at the George Strawberry Festival Presented by Ola.  Francois Ferreira will be cooking up a storm during a strawberry-themed food demonstration.  Everything strawberry will be served at the Strawberry Emporium and Redberry eateries.
