Caravan Lodge & Backpackers

Overview

Caravan Lodge offers Value for money down to earth home from home guest accommodation, either for short term overnight stays or on a long term basis. Various types of accommodation are available, Including fully equipped self catering cottages & Caravans.

We have an 8 sleeper backpackers dorm type room with self catering kitchen TV, Mnet, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning.

We have 4 Caravans which are fully equipped to offer cozy comfortable accommodation . 2 have shared ablutions just outside of the Caravan, and the other 2 have their own ablutions inside the caravan. We must however stress WE ARE NOT A CARAVAN PARK, and our Caravans are unlike any you would usually find at a Caravan Park. We also do not permit camping or tents, or any other Caravans being towed in to our premises.

Two of our caravan's can sleep up to 4 persons in a 1 x Double Bed plus 2 x Single bed configuration. The others can sleep 3 persons and 2 persons respectively. Ablution facilities are provided by way of a quaint log cabin type bathroom or a shower and toilet situated approx 10 meters from the caravans. The Bathroom has a Bath / Vanity Basin / Shower Toilet. An Outside wash trough is also provided .

Cooking of any description in the Caravans is strictly prohibited for health and safety reasons, however guests are welcome to heat pre-cooked, pre-prepared and take-away meals in the microwave provided in each caravan.

Our Caravans are permanent fixtures, and are situated in an Ivy covered garden and are equipped as follows:
All Bedding and linen is supplied, 220 Volt Power supply, Television with 6 Channels including Mnet & Satellite, Bar Fridge, Microwave Oven, Kettle, Complimentary Tea & Coffee Tray, wireless internet is available from this unit for non-Vista users only. Telephone in the Caravan with free calls to TAXI & MR DELIVERY as well as Emergency Numbers. NO MEALS are included in our offer, however are available upon request and can be discussed upon arrival.

Our Backpackers Dormitory can accommodate up to 8 persons sharing. 8 Single beds are provided. An equipped self catering kitchen is incorporated in this unit, and en-suite shower room. TV with Mnet & Sat DSTV, as well as air conditioning and wireless internet are also provided.
