Pockets of unspoilt Fynbos offer a home to a number of indigenous small wildlife including antelope such as steenbok and duiker. Other smaller animals include the bat-eared fox, porcupine, Cape honey badger, cape genet and Cape gray mongoose. Birdlife include among other grey-winged francolin, Karoo clapper lark, bokmakierie and a variety of sunbirds.

This converted 52-seater bus and remote timber cabin can accommodate 4 guests at a time. The converted bus comprises 1 double bed, 1 toilet and hand wash basin and an open-plan living area with wood burning fireplace. The remote timber cabin is furnished with a bunk bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath, basin, and toilet. There is an open-plan kitchen lounge area with wood burning fireplace.
