Known mainly for our high-end residential designs, we at PWM Architects have just completed the first two of several guest rooms set in a spectacular urban forest in the upmarket suburb of Atholl. Only 2km from the site lies the Sandton CBD and the Gautrain from where a high speed rail service offers easy access to Oliver Tambo International Airport. Our emphasis is on good quality accommodation, stylishly put together. Guests here on business can also benefit from the existing facilities provided by our architectural practice, including a boardroom and printing.

A light and spacious room which opens up onto a private garden. The contemporary décor has been carefully selected by our architectural team. The room has a comfortable queen sized bed, a work area and an ensuite bathroom with a combined bath/shower. There are tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge, microwave and smart TV (with access to DSTV and Netflix). Access to fibre broadband ensures that there is a very fast internet connection.

The Studio Apartment

The Studio is a stylishly decorated spacious one-bedroom apartment. It consists of a bedroom come living room; a walk-in shower room, a separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen (with stove, toaster, microwave, fridge and kitchenware). The dining room table sits four; and doubles up as a work area. There is a 40” smart TV in the room (with DSTV and Netflix), and access to fast fibre broadband. In the room there is a double bed and a single sleeper couch. The room can accommodate three adults; OR two adults and two smaller children. Children under 12 stay free (maximum of 2)

Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.

Now that lock down has lifted, it was finally possible to travel to JHB. Can’t think of a nicer spot to have spent my return to freedom! Everything at the BnB was just perfect. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the spring weather in my own private garden. The room has a lovely power shower, a comfortable bed and a smart TV loaded with Netflix. Keith and Deirdre are super hosts, and I was very sad to leave at the end of my stay.
