Only a mere 3 km from the town of Still Bay and nestled along the Goukou River, this is one of the most upmarket and exclusive private lifestyle estates in the area. Hoekland offers wide open spaces, dams, unspoilt nature areas, and wildlife like nyala, rooibok, steenbok and duiker can often be seen on the property.

Stilbaai or Still Bay, also known as the Bay of Sleeping Beauty, is a town along the southern coast of South Africa about four hours by car from Cape Town. Stilbaai is a charming seaside village along the Western Cape Garden Route. It is close to the towns of Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein along the banks of the Goukou River estuary, where it meets the warm Indian Ocean on the Southern Cape coast of South Africa. The river is navigable for 15 km, making it quite the hotspot for water sports such as canoeing and kayaking. Every water-related activity is available. This includes swimming, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kite surfing and angling. There are also walking trails and of course, just plain old sunbathing.
