Overview
Horizon Savannah is located inside the gates of the eastern boundary of the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. Situated on a 60-hectare conservancy hosting only plains game, makes Horizon Savannah safe for walking, cycling and running. It also offers easy access to the self-drive route in the Big 5 area giving guests the best of both worlds.
Accommodation consists of two bespoke high-end standalone self-catering chalets.
The first chalet features sleeper wood furniture and original wildlife paintings, can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The bedroom contains a queen sized bed. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The comfortable open plan area features two single beds, leather couches and wingback chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, kettle, toaster, microwave oven, and cutlery and crockery. The cottage has sliding doors opening to a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a braai facility. There is also a private lapa firepit area with seating.
The second chalet sleeps two on a queen sized bed, has leather couches, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, outdoor dining area and also has a private boma and braai area overlooking the swimming pool
A swimming pool in a private Bushveld setting makes this Horizon Savannah the ideal place to come and relax.
Other activities in the area include Arlington craft brewery as well as other restaurants. Organized game drives, as well as self-drive routes are also easily accessible in the Big 5 reserve nearby.
There is also a campsite with 4 stands each with its own private ablution with shower, that is suitable for off road caravans and tents
