The Lodge is ideally situated among natural surroundings at the foot of Sheba’s Breasts Mountains over looking the legendary Execution Rock. Centrally situated the Lodge provides an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Swaziland.
The Lodge has 38 rooms each with its own en-suite bathroom. The rooms are tastefully furnished to ensure your comfort and are equipped with air conditioning, television (including satellite), telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.
Our rates are extremely competitive and you have the choice between our rustic Execution Rock View rooms with a balcony view over-looking the valley; our luxurious King Solomon rooms, perfect for the travelling businessman/woman or our Sheba´s rooms which are tremendously popular. For those who are more budget conscious, try the Rider Haggard rooms which are based next to the pool. We have a few family rooms around the lodge, one of which is located in an old church building.
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity, relax at the swimming pool, take a stroll around the Gardens or just sit on the deck and enjoy the view of Execution Rock or delight your palette with the tastes from our extensive a-la-carte menu.
Swaziland has a rich history and cultural background to explore, and Mantenga Lodge is an ideal base from which get a real feel of the Swazi people. The National Museum & Archives, the Houses of Parliament, King Sabuza II Memorial Centre and the Swazi Cultural Village are all within a 3 km radius.
There are several recreational facilities in the Mantenga area such as golf, tennis, squash, mountain-biking, hiking, cave exploring, abseiling, paragliding, White River rafting, horse riding, game viewing and much more…

where do I even begin to express the quality, work ethics of the stuff and warm hospitality that we received throughout our stay. From day 1 of our stay we had the most refreshing 4 days with the Mantenga family the food was always delicious and the rooms were well taken care off by management. I was proud of myself for choosing Mantenga lodge for my partner surprise birth day trip. Given the opportunity to go back to Swaziland id chose mantenag lodge without hesitance...Im struggling to put up the 2 lovely pictures we taken at the lodge that I would love to post- Busi SA
