River Bend is a historic building & national monument which has been completely refurbished into 4 contemporary-styled self-catering units.
These charming 4 star heritage cottages offer private indoor & outdoor space with a tasteful mix of historic character & modern-day comfort.
Situated in a peaceful residential area with an easy 20-minute walk or 3 minute drive to restaurants & shops, it is the perfect place to unwind under crystal clear Karoo skies.
Three of our four units offer:
an en-suite air-conditioned bedroom, a stylish lounge,a fully-equipped kitchen, a sleeper couch in the lounge, a private braai/barbeque area on the patio & secure, off-street parking.
One unit has an en-suite bedroom, an open plan lounge with a kitchenette, a front verandah & a private entrance.
Join us in the Great Karoo, a vast, semi-desert in South Africa. This is one of the world's few remaining sanctuaries of clean air and water.
It is there, under the patient guard of the Valley of Desolation's dolerite cliffs that the town of Graaff-Reinet was established in 1786.
