Overview

The Old Trading Post offers comfortable well equipped self-catering and bed & breakfast accommodation, in a peaceful rural environment close to Wilderness.
Ideal for birders and nature lovers, and tourists wanting to explore the Garden Route, or play golf on one of the many courses in the area.
Accommodation consists of:
- Strelitzia Cottage is a one bedroom cottage self-catering cottage and sleeps a family of four with a double bed in the bedroom and bunk beds in the living room which also has lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The bathroom has a Victorian bath and shower.
- The Garden Room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom (shower,) and a kitchenette and, private courtyard.

- Lara's Room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom (Victorian cast iron bath and shower.)

- The Tin Room has 2 single beds and en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Our Glamping options:
- Woodcutter's Bush camp accommodates a family of 4 in two Safari tents on wooden decks with rustic bathroom and cooking facilities and fire pit.
- The Nest is a Bell tent elevated on a deck with double bed and rustic bathroom and cooking facilities, great views of the valley and Island Lake

All accommodation has bed linen, towels and amenities, tea and coffee etc. The rooms only have TV. Free Wifi is available in most areas.

Guests can enjoy the nature of the adjoining Wilderness National Park on foot, by bicycle or by driving. There are numerous activities,nearby: Hiking, Canoeing, Boat Cruises, Paragliding.
