Overview
The Torthouse is an addition to the popular Travelling Tortoise retreat.
It is situated on the campsite - and aimed at campers who arn't too keen on the cold , the wet, and who can't sleep because of flapping tents. It's a unique experience.
The retreat has 6 chalets 2 swimming pools - one solar heated one cold, 3 hot tubs, and a fish pond pond .
There is a hugeadventure playground with a unique zipline
We are set within beautiful countryside, some good walks and outstsnding views.

The Torthouse is part of our campsite.
Have you ever spent the night in a Tortoise?Well now is your chance. Camping a bit cold wet and windy for you?Then seek the sanctury of his substantial shell.
There are all basic creature comforts : A double bed, table and chairs, a small kitchen and a fridge.
Cooking is outside with a gas burner amd a braai.
This experience is a must - got to go on your bucket list.

Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison. A search made for Homes and Villas however will always be based on the full daily rate of the unit irrespective of the number of people the unit sleeps.
