Wamakersvlei Beach Farm offers exclusive and secluded pet-friendly self-catering accommodation. Authentic “veewagters” and fisherman cottages were restored and offer contemporary style with heartfelt hospitality. Each cottage has a veranda from where you can relax and enjoy the brisk sea air, sightings of birds and views of unspoiled nature. All cottages are equipped with an outdoor braai and indoor fireplace to keep things cozy in winter.
Wamakersvlei Beach Farm, located 175 km from Cape Town International Airport up to the West Coast. This area is known as The Sandveld and forms part of the exceptional Cape Floral Kingdom, one of the six floral kingdoms in the world. Huge areas of still unspoiled habitation for plant species, birds, animals, reptiles and insects characterizes the unique Sandveld.
Spend your days exploring the 400 hectares by foot or mountain bike as you follow the tracks and trails of wildlife, or just enjoy relaxed strolls along the beach Activities on the farm include: whale and dolphin spotting, swimming, picnicking, mountain biking, walking and hiking, bird watching, angling kayaking.
