Split on two levels, this spacious family & pet-friendly Wilderness holiday house offers five bedrooms, four bathrooms (three of which are en-suite), a guest toilet and a light-filled lounge which flows into a dining room, both of which open onto the lagoon facing deck with dining table. There is a lovely wood-burning fireplace in the lounge, ideal to cosy up next to on chilly evenings.

The kitchen is open-plan with the living area and is fully equipped for a self-catering stay, including stack sliding windows opening onto the garden facing patio with BBQ/braai facilities and additional outdoor dining table. A separate scullery houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

Additional house features include an inverter for loadshedding, uncapped wifi, alarm with armed response, full package Satellite DStv in both the lounge and four of the bedrooms plus on-site parking behind a remote controlled gate.

There is direct access to the lagoon boardwalk just outside the front door, a perfect place from which to fish, canoe, SUP and swim.

Peak Season (10 Dec - 10 Jan) Min 5 nights. - The house has an inverter for loadshedding, runs basics including lights, wifi and TV but no heavy appliances such as hairdryers or microwaves. - Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1500 management fee and R 3000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT. - R 250 in cash upon check-in for late check-in fee if arriving after 18h00. - A maximum of 8 adults and 4 children are allowed to sleep over, sharing in 5 bedrooms (the 5th bedroom has 2x bunk beds, suitable strictly for children under 16 years of age). - Children of all ages are welcome, however, please take care of small children at this property. There is no child safety barriers or gate on stairs, also no safety railings. You need to keep an eye on your small children for their safety. Please bring your own camp cot and high chair with. The owners and property management company will not be held liable in any way. - Linen, bath & beach/swimming towels are provided – please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels. - Pets are allowed on the property upon prior request only, strictly subject to owner confirmation. Pet policy applies. - This property is not wheelchair suitable. - No smoking indoors, please discard of cigarettes in astray provided and not on the patio, gardens or down toilets. - Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please. - Noise policy: Waterside Holiday House is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. We kindly request that loud music, parties or any excessive noise be avoided at all times, to preserve the serene and tranquil setting. No loud music or noise will be tolerated and the owners and property management company reserves their rights. - A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time. - The house has septic tanks, only human waste and toilet paper down toilets please and use septic tank friendly cleaning materials. - Housekeeping service is not included - it is optional extra. Please advise us well in advance if you require this service as it is outsourced and subject to availability at time of enquiry. - This accommodation is fully self-catering.
