Overview
Ymansdam is situated next to the Tankwa Karoo National Park at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain, about an hour's drive from Calvinia.
Guests can choose between a unique campsite that also have ablution facilities. Please note that tents are not provided and guests have to bring their own. At night guests can relax around the camp fire and look up at the starry skies while enjoying the unbelievable fresh air so akin to the Karoo.
Our self catering farm cottage sleeps two people. The cottage has an open plan, fully equipped kitchen/lounge, one bedroom with a double bed (en-suite bathroom), a verandah with a fireplace and a splash pool.
We also have a farm dam and hiking trails, walking, biking, 4 x 4 trails, bicycle touring and birdwatching are some of the activities to partake in as well as donkey cart rides are available by appointment. We also have farm animals that can be viewed by the children.
Various walking, hiking and biking routes are located throughout the farm and for the more adventurous, there are also some amazing 4x4 trails in the area.

Where pricing is “per unit” the Average Price Per Person based on maximum occupancy is used for the price range comparison.
